Biography
Katherine Mulcahy is a clinical instructor at Temple University and is also currently working in labor and delivery at a regional perinatal center in Hopewell, NJ. Her background is primarily in obstetrics, and she also has experience working in medical-surgical, community health, psychiatric/mental health and pediatric home health. She is currently pursuing an EdD in nursing education leadership and has been a nurse educator at the baccalaureate, diploma and associate levels of nursing education. Her areas of interest and research agenda include the use of story-based learning, simulation, and reflective journaling to facilitate professional role development and clinical reasoning in undergraduate nursing students.
