Dr. Tripicchio is a nutrition scientist and public health researcher whose work aims to address diet-related chronic disease and obesity disparities in pediatric populations. Her current research in the Tripicchio Lab is focused on identifying novel targets for dietary intervention, employing more rigorous methodology for measuring dietary intake, and designing and implementing effective, scalable behavioral interventions to improve dietary intake for high-risk youth. Dr. Tripicchio’s research is currently conducted in partnership with Philadelphia public schools, federally qualified health and dental clinics, and local nonprofit organizations. Dr. Tripicchio is also associated with the Center for Obesity Research and Education.
