The Minor in Health Policy and Management provides students with a background in policy issues and management challenges related to politics, ethics, quality, payments and healthcare access. Students in the minor gain experience communicating health policy for diverse audiences, analyzing and advocating for health polities, and explaining the political processes underlying policymaking.

Coursework explores management principles, leadership skills and the operation of health-related organizations. Elective courses within the minor allow students to choose their focus, concentrating on policy, management or both.
