The interdisciplinary and interprofessional ABA Centers of America Autism Lab is located within the School of Social Work and hosted within the College of Public Health. Its purposes are to increase autism assessment capacity in Philadelphia, provide opportunities for the interdisciplinary preparation of students from throughout the College of Public Health for careers in autism services, be a catalyst for expanding workforce development opportunities, develop new and needed interventions, and conduct and manage related research projects.

The lab will collaborate with other research, service and training programs in the Philadelphia area; develop new opportunities for innovation; and respond to and support providers, advocates, families and autistic individuals themselves.

The Autism Lab's work is made possible by a gift from ABA Centers of America.
