The College of Public Health provides various scholarship opportunities for students who are currently enrolled in our degree programs. These scholarships are made available through the support of generous donors who believe in the mission of the College of Public Health and our students, and we are beyond grateful to them for investing in student success.

Students must submit a FAFSA in order to be considered for need-based scholarships. For information regarding the FAFSA, please visit sfs.temple.edu. All of the College of Public Health's scholarships are tuition-only scholarships.

For any questions related to scholarships, please contact CPH's scholarship coordinator at cphaward@temple.edu.

Scholarship Universe

Through Scholarship Universe, Temple University's scholarship application platform, students can apply for College of Public Health scholarships and vetted external scholarships.

Each student enrolled at the College of Public Health should log in to Scholarship Universe to be notified of scholarships that match their qualifications. To do this, visit TUportal and click on the Cost and Aid tab, then the middle button labeled Apply for Scholarships.

Some CPH scholarships will not have an application; students will be considered for them automatically if they match the scholarship criteria. The more questions you answer about yourself when you create your profile, the more opportunities you will match.

Fall scholarships for physical therapy, occupational therapy, communication sciences and disorders, and recreational therapy students open on Sept. 15 and close on Nov. 1. All other CPH scholarships will open on Feb. 1 and close on March 15.

Emergency Aid Funds

College of Public Health Emergency Aid Funds are open. To apply for emergency aid, please email CPH's scholarship coordinator at cphaward@temple.edu to request an application.

These funds are used to help CPH students facing a one-time emergency that can be resolved with amounts less than $500. Examples of these emergencies are theft, medical bills, or lack of basic needs due to an unexpected situation. Emergency funds can only be given to each student one time during each academic year.
