Led by Dean Jennifer Ibrahim and a team of associate deans to support and mentor faculty, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture that embraces an engaged, supported and championed faculty. We encourage academic excellence, development in research, leadership, and fostering ideas to provide exceptional education to better serve our students and our community. The many benefits of working at our college include:

  • An interprofessional focus and diverse group of departments that work together to enhance collaboration and better accomplish goals
  • Resources and research support provided by working at an R1 university
  • Extensive support offered by a fully staffed dean's office in the areas of research and grant administration, community engagement, finance, information technology, marketing and communications, and more
  • Being part of an award-winning team of faculty, with access to support from the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT). Through resources that allow faculty to share their experience and expertise, CAT promotes evidence-based teaching that fosters student learning and growth.

Living in Greater Philadelphia

Our college is located in Philadelphia, the sixth-largest city in the United States. Our city is consistently named one of the top cities in the world for its history and culture, dining and entertainment, and walkability and public spaces. Living here, you'll have access to world-class museums, top-ranked restaurants, breathtaking parks, a vibrant waterfront, and some of the most important sites in our nation's history.

Philadelphia's many neighborhoods are distinct and eclectic, and the Greater Philadelphia region is no less diverse, dotted with picturesque countrysides and historic small towns. Philadelphia and its surrounding counties are home to outstanding school districts, as well as top private and parochial schools, and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority keeps the region well connected through bus, trolley, train, and subway service, all of which are convenient to Temple.
