The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences' faculty are committed to offering students the best education and opportunities possible during their time at Temple. This includes the department’s commitment to research and scholarship activities, and providing students with opportunities to engage in cutting-edge topics in their fields in a more intensive way with fellow students and faculty. Such experiences may be beneficial to students' clinical practice, and may even influence students' interest in pursuing research as an academic career. To provide this learning opportunity the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences has a number of research labs with which students can affiliate. Lab work is a competitive, voluntary, research experience over and above any course work in which students are involved.
