Our groundbreaking work addresses the public health implications of cancer, HIV/AIDS, aging, neuromuscular disorders, organ transplantation, substance abuse and traumatic brain injury. We work tirelessly to develop cutting-edge treatments and therapies for communication disorders, severe mental illness, obesity and other conditions.
Our research and scholarship improves the health and well-being of our Philadelphia community. We are contributing to state and national public health policy and legislation. And we have an international focus, with research that involves collaborations in Latin America, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.
