On Jan. 25, 2023, the NIH is implementing a new policy that will require researchers to include additional documentation with their grant applications. New and competing renewal grant applications for ALL research projects that generate scientific data will now need to include a robust and detailed plan for how you will manage and share data during the entire funded period.

This presentation will cover the specifics of new policy's requirements for future grant applications and data sharing; the different elements of a Data Management and Sharing Plan, which will be required in future grant applications; and how to use the DMPTool, a free online tool supported by the Temple Libraries and ITS that walks the user through the plan writing process.

Connect via Zoom at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7https://temple.zoom.us/j/95874179588
