Join us in preparing tomorrow's healthcare leaders.

The Office of Clinical Practice and Field Education guides the College of Public Health’s clinical and community-based internships and field placements. We build partnerships with community internship sites and develop education programs that support both students and host sites. Our work strengthens the College of Public Health’s community relationships, and prepares our students in holistic and practical ways to become leaders in the health workforce.

Our mission is to train the next generation of public health practitioners and prepare students to enter the professional workforce. OCPFE will facilitate student clinical and fieldwork experiences that offer applied learning and hands-on skill development in service of the public's health and the needs of local communities. OCPFE seeks placement relationships that are multidisciplinary and sustained, offering mutual benefit through student projects and service. OCPFE seeks to identify the needs of service providers and develop workforce development initiatives to support providers in the Philadelphia area.
