Temple University’s College of Public Health and Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College) have announced a new educational partnership. Together, the institutions have established an articulated program agreement that provides a seamless pathway for College of Public Health students majoring in health professions, kinesiology and exercise and sport science to gain guaranteed admission in Northeast College’s in-demand NYCC's Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program as long as they meet a GPA requirement.

This 4+3 articulation track allows students to earn their doctorate in seven years: four years of undergraduate study at Temple followed by the three-year Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program at Northeast, located in Seneca Falls, N.Y.

"This is a great opportunity for College of Public Health students interested in a career in chiropractic medicine,” says Jennifer Ibrahim, associate dean for academic affairs at the College of Public Health. “It’s also a great fit as both institutions are committed to applied learning and clinical experience."

"We are excited to partner with Temple University and welcome its College of Public Health students who are interested in studying chiropractic and becoming doctors," said Northeast College President Michael Mestan. “This partnership reflects our strong interprofessional nature and eagerness to cultivate education and leadership opportunities for as many students as possible."
