Biography

Ra'Shaun Gass serves as the department coordinator and community liaison for the Office of Community-engaged Research and Practice. He joined the office in January 2022 after nearly two decades of service in other roles at the College of Public Health. He brings a wealth of institutional and community-based knowledge to the team. In his role, Gass manages anything and everything from office management to fostering and sustaining partnerships with community organizations.

Mr. Gass is a proud Philadelphian, born and raised in North Philadelphia near Temple’s campus. He has previous experience with academic-community partnerships as a mentor for youth and young adults and working with the Healthy Homes and Lead-Safe Babies projects for the Department of Nursing.
