Biography

Pam Mason, LSW, is the senior graduate advisor for the School of Social Work. She is an alumna of Temple’s BSW and MSW programs. After completing her master’s degree, Pam spent several years working with Tufts University on a replication study of the “Shape Up Somerville” project in nearby Bristol Township, PA. She then worked as a program manager in a residential program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, helping long-term hospital patients reintegrate into community living. When she returned to Temple, she managed support services for the various CPH clinical, field and internship programs. She is an adjunct instructor in the BSW program and really enjoys connecting with students one-on-one in her advising role. At home, she cheers on the Steelers with her dog and enjoys spending time with her five kids.
