Biography

Michelle Scarpulla became a full time faculty member in the College of Public Health in August 2013. She had previously been an adjunct faculty member, while also working part-time at Answer, a national organization dedicated to providing and promoting comprehensive sexuality education. As a sexual health trainer at Answer, Michelle led workshops and trainings, in person and online, for school and community educators around the country about how to teach age-appropriate and comprehensive sexuality education to young people. Prior to that, she worked in various school and community settings as a health educator where she delivered individual and group health education to various populations. Michelle received her MPH from Temple University and a BS in public health from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
