Biography

Lynn-Marie Charles, DNP, CRNP, AG-ACNP, FNP-BC, is an assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Nursing. She earned her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) at Bradley University, Peoria, IL. She is a dedicated nurse practitioner who embodies a commitment to excellence in both clinical practice and education. With a passion for patient-centered care, she has dedicated her career to serving individuals across diverse healthcare settings from obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, wound care and internal medicine, ensuring their holistic well-being. Beyond clinical practice, she is deeply committed to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. As an instructor, she blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, nurturing critical thinking skills and clinical competencies of aspiring nurses and nurse practitioners. She instills in her students a sense of confidence and empathy, preparing them to excel as compassionate caregivers and leaders in the field of nursing.
