Biography

Laryssa Banks, MEd, is an academic advisor for Temple’s health professions students and returns to the College of Public Health having received her BS in health professions in 2021. After graduating, she continued her studies at Temple, receiving her master’s in higher education and working with Temple Undergraduate Admissions as first-year admissions counselor. When she is not in the office, you may find Laryssa at a concert, shopping for sneakers, or crocheting and watching New Girl. You may also find her with her sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Laryssa is excited to return to CPH and help students on their journey to their careers.
