Biography:

Jasmine graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Social Work and went on to get a law degree at CUNY. She worked with parents found neglecting or abusing their children and, as a lawyer, represented hundreds of persons in immigration, family, criminal and real estate matters. She has been interviewed by NPR, Conversations with Selwyn and Black Star News and is also the recipient of the Congressional Women Who Dare to be Different Award.
