Biography

Dr. Chasity Riddick completed her DrPH in public health at Capella University. She earned an MS in sport management and a BS in exercise physiology at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Riddick has over 10 years of experience working as health and wellness director for various organizations serving the residents of Northampton and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania. For seven years, she worked at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania in various roles such as visiting assistant professor and lecturer. In those roles, she expanded the health science internship program and developed several courses for the health science program. During her time there, she conducted research on attitudes and behaviors toward physical activity in African American college-aged females.

Dr. Riddick has a strong interest in health equity and cultural awareness. Given her plethora of experience in public health, Dr. Riddick teaches undergraduate and gradate courses in social and behavioral sciences at Temple.
