Biography

Alyssa Garnich (LSW, MSS, MEd) is a senior graduate advisor for the School of Social Work. Alyssa has over ten years of experience working in higher education in the areas of academic and career advising, residence life and counseling services. Alyssa is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Pennsylvania, and holds a master of education degree in college student personnel administration from James Madison University as well as a master of social service degree from Bryn Mawr College. Holistically assisting and supporting students in reaching their academic and career goals is Alyssa’s passion. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys reading, listening to music/attending concerts, exercising, and cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles.
