Biography

Mona Baishya is a doctoral student in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. She completed an undergraduate program in psychology and biological sciences, and she earned her MPH in biostatistics from Texas A&M University. She was awarded an ORISE fellowship for the Navy Marine Corps Public Health Center, where she spent a year working as a clinical epidemiologist and a year as a behavioral health epidemiologist. Mona's research interests include maternal and child health, domestic violence and substance abuse.
