Michelle Scarpulla became a full time faculty member in the Department of Public Health in August 2013. She had previously been an adjunct faculty member while simultaneously working part-time at Answer, a national organization dedicated to providing and promoting comprehensive sexuality education. As a Sexual Health Trainer at Answer, Michelle led workshops and trainings, in person and online, for school and community educators around the country about how to teach age appropriate and comprehensive sexuality education to young people. Prior to that, she worked in various school and community settings as a Health Educator where she delivered individual and group health education to a variety of populations. Michelle received her MPH from Temple University and a BS in Public Health from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
