The college's programs in Speech, Language and Hearing Science prepare students to become speech-language pathologists treating of a broad range of speech, language, social communication and cognitive-communication disorders. Undergraduate students will be prepared to pursue advanced study in speech-language pathology or audiology; graduate students will be prepared to apply for certification to become a speech-language pathologist.

The Master of Arts (M.A.) education program in speech-language pathology (residential) at Temple University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.
This program also has been approved in Speech-Language-Hearing by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
