Our research and scholarship improves the health and well-being of our Philadelphia community. We are contributing to state and national public health policy and legislation. And we have an international focus, with research that involves collaborations in Latin America, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.

Our funders include government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Defense and National Institutes of Health; private foundations such as the Gates Foundation; and a wide range of regional and local sponsors.

The college is home to three nationally renowned research centers; in addition, each of the college's departments house a number of research labs and projects.
