The Psychometrics Lab focuses on the measurement of conceptual entities (constructs) using the latent variable framework. Latent variables with continuous and discrete distributions are embedded in larger models to study theoretical associations between constructs to test causal claims. The lab provides biostatistical support for pre- and post-doctoral training applications (F and K Awards), as well as external grant applications for junior and senior faculty.
