Client Information

The North Broad Physical Therapy Center provides student-run and clinician-supervised pro bono physical therapy services to uninsured, underinsured and underserved community members of North Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Together, we aim to reduce healthcare disparities and improve quality of life by inspiring community partnership, mutual learning and interprofessional collaboration.

All patients must have a referral for physical therapy from a physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, podiatrist or dentist.

Parking options

There is street parking available: either free two-hour parking or metered parking. Parking meters must be paid between the hours posted (most are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday). There are also two parking garages available: Temple University Hospital Garage, located on Tioga Street (between Broad Street and Germantown Ave.), and Carlisle West Garage, located on 15th Street (between Tioga & Ontario Streets).

Public transportation options

Broad Street Line: Jones Hall is two blocks north of Allegheny station.

Regional Rail: There is a stop on the Manayunk/Norristown Line for North Philadelphia regional rail station. You will then have to walk to Broad Street and get on the Broad Street Line at North Philadelphia subway station. For all other lines, you can get off at Temple University station and will have to walk to the Cecil B. Moore subway stop for the Broad Street Line. Either way, you will get off at Allegheny Station and walk to Jones Hall.
