We offer fully accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is available as a four-year direct-entry program for students with a high school diploma. Nursing is a competitive major at Temple University College of Public Health. Therefore, we also offer our BSN program as a second-degree program (for those with an earned bachelor’s degree in another major including program prerequisites) which can be completed in 16 months. Graduates of our BSN programs are eligible to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Registered Nurse licensure exam NCLEX. Our BSN programs include high-quality clinical experiences and didactic education delivered by experts in nursing practice, research, service, and leadership.
Our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program includes a Post BSN-DNP and Post Masters DNP options. Our Post BSN-DNP programs include two Nurse Practitioner (NP) specialties; Family-Individual Across the Lifespan (FIAL) and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGPC). Graduates of our Post BSN-DNP programs are eligible for national board certifications and licensure in their respective Nurse Practitioner roles. Our Post-Masters DNP programs include two options; the first Post-Masters DNP Program is a DNP and builds on the applicants’ nursing specialty as a Masters prepared nurse. All the Post-Masters DNP students have the option to obtain a specialty in the Health Systems Leadership concentration.
