Cheryl A. Hyde: Recognized for her enduring leadership and contributions to community practice and social justice, Hyde was selected as the recipient of the Association for Community Organization and Social Action (ACOSA) 2025 Career Achievement Award.
Resa M. Jones, Gabriella Maria McLoughlin, Jennifer Orlet Fisher, and Recai Yucel: Highlighted for cross-departmental collaboration, Fisher, Jones, McLoughlin, and Yucel—along with recent MPH graduate Angel Smith—co-authored a publication in Implementation Science Communications titled Using implementation mapping to optimize the impact of Universal School Meals: A type III hybrid implementation-effectiveness study protocol, in partnership with collaborators A. Dopp, O. Martinez, S. Kumanyika, and R.C. Brownson.
Gabriella Maria McLoughlin: Awarded a new R03 grant in August, McLoughlin will lead the study Investigating Student-Level Outcomes of Equity-Focused Implementation Mapping in a Cluster Randomized Trial to Enhance the Impact of Universal School Meals, advancing evidence on equitable nutrition outcomes in schools.
Jamie Mansell: Recognized for significant professional achievement and leadership in athletic training and interprofessional care, Mansell was accepted as a Distinguished Fellow of the Athletic Training Academy within the National Academies of Practice. She will be inducted as part of the Class of 2026 next March.
Beth Pfeiffer: Honored for her meaningful contributions to occupational therapy scholarship, Pfeiffer received the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association’s Research Award at the 2025 POTA Annual Conference.
Mark Salzer: Recognized for more than three decades of work advancing peer support and community inclusion, Salzer received the 2025 Sally Zinman Lifetime Achievement Award from the Alliance for Rights and Recovery, honoring sustained contributions to the recovery, rehabilitation, and rights of people with psychiatric disabilities.
