Temple MSW Students Featured in TUTV Community Forum: Human Trafficking and Elder Abuse

In the first video, Melissa Steininger sits down with Kaitlin Bangert, graduate student at the Temple School of Social Work, and Jay Atlas, founder of Worthwhile Wear: Go. Together they discuss the severity of human trafficking, the internet's role, the importance of awareness, and how it is both a local and global issue.

In the next video, arranged by Katherine Block, Melissa Steininger sits down with Diane Menio, executive director of C.A.R.I.E. They discuss the most common types of elder abuse, the damaging effects abuse can have on the elderly, the frequency of financial exploitation, and what can be done, especially in legal terms, to protect the elderly.
