Temple DPT students honor MLK

To honor Martin Luther King Day on February 16th, 2012, several Temple Doctor of Physical Therapy students participated in the MLK Day of Service at Girard College. During the event, the students spoke with patrons regarding regarding access to physical therapy services, postural education and the role of physical therapists in healthcare.

Back on My Feet

Matt William's Scholarship Luncheon

Department of Physical Therapy Matt Williams Memorial Scholarship.  Awarded to a student in the second year of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program who exemplifies the attributes of Matt Williams.  Matt Williams was a member of the Class of 2002 who lost his battle with cancer.  To honor his memory, the award goes to a student, selected by their classmates, who demonstrates humor, enthusiasm, courage, and a servant’s heart.

The luncheon and awarding of the scholarships was on November 1st, 2011.
