The College of Public Health is proud to announce that Ariana Ali-Yerima, a senior majoring in Public Health with a minor in Healthcare Management, will serve as the student speaker at the college’s 2025 graduation ceremony. After graduation, Ariana will be attending the University of Pennsylvania to pursue a Master of Public Health in Global Health and continue her involvement at the Penn Medicine Breast Health Initiative.
“My time in the College of Public Health has been more than I could’ve imagined” Ariana shared. She continues “I’m forever grateful for our university, college, and community for shaping my journey and setting me up for success. It’s an honor to serve as this year’s student speaker.”
Ariana has been an active member of the Temple community, serving as a resident assistant, as president of the National Health Education Honorary Chapter (Eta Sigma Gamma), as president of the Community Health Club Education, and as a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Board in the College of Public Health. Her dedication to public health and student leadership exemplifies the values of the College of Public Health.
“Ariana’s story reflects the very best of Temple—resilient, driven, and committed to making a difference,” said Dean Jennifer Ibrahim. “She leads with heart, purpose, and integrity, and we are thrilled to have her represent the Class of 2025 at this year’s commencement.”
The College of Public Health graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the Liacouras Center.
