Talks and Presentations
Graciela Jaschek was the keynote speaker at the Engineers Without Borders Fundraising Gala at Temple.
Gabriella McLoughlin delivered a presentation at RAND Corporation, "Integrating Health Equity and Implementation Science to Improve Youth Outcomes." The talk featured two studies focused on using implementation science to improve healthy equity for young people. The first project addresses the integration of health equity and implementation science frameworks to enhance implementation measurement and to inform implementation mapping to address inequities in health issues such as food insecurity and obesity. The second project focused on integrating Getting To Outcomes with Project ALERT to improve implementation of and outcomes of substance use prevention programming in middle schools.
Awards and Accolades
Thoin Begum, a post-doc in Robin Taylor Wilson's lab, has been announced as a finalist in the AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships.
Recai Yucel was nominated by external colleagues for American Statistical Fellow.
Other Activities
Recai Yucel served as NIH/AHRQ Standing Review Panel member and as DoD Scientific Review member.
