Marilyn Barge holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Temple University's School of Social Work, making her a two-time alumna. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked extensively with children and families navigating the challenges of poverty in public school settings. Marilyn also holds a Pre-K-12 School Counseling certification and is trauma-informed. Additionally, she has over 10 years of experience advocating for children and young adults with autism. Marilyn earned her doctorate in Social Work from Tulane University's School of Social Work. She enjoys serving others and is actively engaged in the Temple alumni community.
Fun fact: Marilyn loves gardening and watching comedy shows, especially Saturday Night Live!
