Biography
Audrey Morrison (she/her), DNP, PMHNP-BC, is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Nursing at Temple University's College of Public Health and a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University.
Dr. Morrison's clinical work has focused on children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, particularly those involved in the child welfare system. Working as part of interdisciplinary teams, she has provided psychiatric evaluation and medication management while collaborating with families, schools, and community providers to support coordinated, trauma-informed care.
Through her work as both a clinician and educator, Dr. Morrison is passionate about preparing future nurses to provide thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care. She teaches undergraduate courses in mental health nursing and pharmacology, and her professional interests include trauma-informed care, child and adolescent mental health, reducing stigma, and improving access to quality mental health treatment.
