Hosted by Temple University’s nutrition MPH program, the "Sustaining Philly Nutrition" event series shares current challenges and projected needs for sustaining our local food systems amid increasing extreme weather events.

This second virtual event in the series will focus on Philadelphia food rescue and relief organizations. It will also serve as the second Sustaining Philly Food Systems Task Force meeting. The task force aims to bring together urban and regional farmers, farmers market organizers, food relief organizations, public health practitioners, community advocates, academics, and students. Its goal is to forge partnerships and collaborations to enhance weather disaster preparedness and solutions to sustain Philadelphia food systems in the era of climate change.
