Join the College of Public Health for a presentation by Amy Lynch, associate professor of instruction, on the effects of trauma in occupational therapy.

Trauma limits skills and satisfaction in occupational engagement. The influence of experiences of trauma permeates occupational therapy intervention in predictable ways. The discussion will include strategies to identify and respond to the constricting influence of trauma and promote more optimal outcomes in occupational therapy practice. Opportunities for capstones related to trauma may be discussed.
