Dr. Recai Yucel will present examples of collaborative work leading to advancements of both biostatistical methodology and subject matter fields. Two examples will be presented:

1. Adopting a novel missing data methodology to solve a missing data issue in cancer registries
2. Targeting measurement error problems and aiming to improve underreporting of treatment status in the registries

Discussion will be limited to presentation of the interactive process to demonstrate an ideal Biostatistics Core project.
