Bio: With over 30 years in the fields of Public Health and Nonprofits, Dina Stonberg has found her home in utilizing a systems-based approach to creative problem-solving for her nonprofit clients. Understanding that every nonprofit is unique and each nonprofit leader approaches challenges differently, Dina integrates knowledge of the field, funding space, principles of grant writing, and overall fundraising to create a high-quality output for each client. Her areas of specialty include creative problem solving, coalition-building, grant writing, program development and evaluation, and multi-pronged development planning.

Over the 23 years of her consultancy, Dina has worked with `YEAH Philly, The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, Women Organized Against Rape, Gaudenzia, Education Plus Health, Gaudenzia Inc., Prevention Point Philadelphia, Livewell Foundation, Mindful Philanthropy, Central Division Victim Services, United States Conference on AIDS, Why Not Prosper, Kimmel Center, etc. In multiple cases, Dina more than doubled the agency budget in less than 3 years and her positive rate for grants hovers between 75% and 80%. Her clients appreciate her warmth and humor as well as her expertise in the nonprofit field. Her vast network of people from divergent fields in the

Philadelphia (and beyond) have saved a project more than once and led to strong partnerships for years to come.

With a master’s in public health from Temple University and a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Fundraising from the Nonprofit Center at LaSalle combined with her years of experience in the field, Dina helps clients to look at things from a different perspective and create new solutions as needed. Following her philosophy of “not chasing funding”, Dina helps her clients to identify new sources of revenue and ways to increase their reach to best serve their clients.

Her volunteer activities include serving on the Executive Committee (Secretary) for the Temple College of Public Health Alumni Board, Executive Committee (Secretary) of the Media Area Unit of the NAACP, and member of the President’s Advisory committee for Riddle Hospital – Mainline Health. Dina was also just appointed to the Delaware County Commission responsible for distributing the opioid settlement money. She resides in Delaware County with her husband and daughter.

Fun fact: Dina started painting when she turned 50 a year ago and she loves it!
