Kim Sparks holds an MSW from Temple University’s School of Social Work and a bachelor’s degree in Speech/Theater/Dance from Rowan University. With more than 30 years of professional experience, Kim has worked with children, families, and individuals across a wide range of settings including International Artist Exchanges, Philadelphia Public School District, various inpatient, outpatient, and day-program facilities, and multiple community organizations. She has also served on numerous boards throughout her career.
In addition to her academic and clinical work, Kim owned and operated a dance studio in Medford, NJ, where she taught students of all ages and levels. She has served as an adjunct professor at Eastern University and was a master teacher presenter at the American College Dance Festival (ACDFA) at West Chester University. Currently, Kim is an affiliate professor at Rowan University, where she created and facilitates the Dance Studio Management Certificate Course.
Since retiring from studio ownership, Kim has taken on a part-time role as a job coach for the Lenape Regional High School District, has gotten her Life/Business Coaching Certification, became a Mentor to Temple University’s CPH Program, and has enjoyed traveling and exploring new opportunities with her husband and 3 children.
