A new home in Paley Hall will be more than a powerful hub for interdisciplinary science and training; it will yield immeasurable social and cultural capital as well, facilitating an unprecedented sense of community. All student services will be together under one roof, and for the first time, 4,000+ College of Public Health students will have a place to connect and learn from each other casually and organically.

Those balancing work or family and school will have a place to touch down and make connections. Those navigating a large, urban research university for the first time will find a welcoming space to call home. Student clubs, activities and interest groups will expand quickly in this frictionless environment. Alumni affinity for the school will grow as never before.

Putting caring at the core of Temple University

A renovated Paley puts the college at the intersection of Temple’s many communities and at the heart of the student experience. It’s a uniquely vibrant location at the center of campus that belongs to everyone. It’s a place that positions us to pull in students and faculty from every discipline to share in problem-solving and solution-building to address public health’s most pressing challenges.

WELL and LEED certification

Paley Hall will be the first project on Temple’s campus to seek WELL certification—a measurement of the building's overall impact on human health and well-being. Both WELL and LEED requirements involve healthy and sustainable construction practices and ongoing building operations.

Biophilic design

Using natural landscape features, natural lighting, ample ventilation and other elements that support cognitive function, physical health and psychological well-being, Paley Hall will become a uniquely productive and healthy built environment for the CPH community.

There has never been a greater need to advocate for investments in the people, research and programs of public health.

At moments like these, the public health community leaps into action to do what we do best.

Support our work and partner with us as we amplify the voice of public health around the world and train future generations of public health leaders. Your investment will ensure our students become the researchers, clinicians, educators, administrators, caregivers and advocates making tomorrow better for all.
