Biography

Christopher Herghelegiu has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur in various industries. He successfully invested in early innovative industries like digital currencies, cannabis and hemp. He is the co-founder of the American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp, which pioneered legislation and created industry standards. He also co-founded MMJPay, a financial services firm for the cannabis industry. In addition, he has held C-level executive roles in many financial and manufacturing companies, including National Bottling, Masterson Herk Capital Partners LLC, and Keef Cola, the first cannabis-infused beverage in the market.

Prior to investing in these industries, Chris launched many other successful endeavors including the Absolute Home Mortgage Corporation, where he originated over $3 billion in mortgages over 15 years; Starstream Entertainment, whose films have placed in major film festivals including Toronto and Sundance; Hudson Abstract, which has supported many Northeastern lenders for over a decade; and Tavris LLC, which consults for companies in the medical, aerospace and defense industries as well as international marketing and sales companies.
