Child Life Interventions

Thank you for your interest in THRC 5214: Child Life Interventions at Temple University. This class meets the Child Life Council’s requirement for a course in Child Life taught by a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS).

The majority of the instruction for this class is conducted online with flexibility in terms of when the student completes the learning activities.  However, all students are required to attend online WebEx sessions and attend a mandatory observational field trip to a facility with a child life program.

The Child Life course is three credits and you can view detailed tuition information for the College of Public Health on the Bursar’s website: http://bursar.temple.edu/tuition-and-fees/tuition-rates

Non-degree seeking students who are not taking courses as part of TU admissions requirements are not eligible for financial aid. However, a payment plan is available through the Bursar’s office: http://bursar.temple.edu/payments/payment-plans#tipp

Registration for Fall typically opens in early April while registration for Spring typically opens in November. The Statistical Record Form is required in order to process your registration.  This form should be returned to recthpy@temple.edu. You will be notified by email once your registration has been completed successfully.

The Child Life Interventions course tends to fill up quickly, so we process registration on a first come, first served basis according to when the Statistical Record Form is received from non-degree seeking students. Please be aware that current TU students have first priority registration for the course; therefore, be sure to submit your form in a timely manner. We look forward to hearing from you!
