A blood drive was held on the health science campus at Temple University on April 8th 2014. It had a wonderful turn out with roughly 24 people donated approximately 1 pint of blood each. The steady flow of donors kept nurses and doctors were busy from the time the drive began until it ended.
The statistics provided from the American Red Cross website (redcrossblood.org) says that one pint can be used to save up to 3 lives. Thanks to the time and effort of the donors, the blood drive saved approximately 72 lives.
