On July 28, 2017, current and prospective Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) students gathered at Temple University's Center City Campus for TU Hack Health Day. The Department of Health Services Administration and Policy hosted the full day workshop. Attendees were introduced to data usage in the healthcare setting by completing interactive activitites with their peers. "It's really an opportunity for students to think about how information in healthcare is created, captured and analyzed," says MSHI Program Director Thomas Martin. In small groups, students examined public healthcare data and worked together to explore data architecture, security and analysis.
