Biography
Michael O’Hara, PT, DPT, OCS is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Physical Therapy in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Temple University. Michael earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2014, and subsequently completed an orthopaedic residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2015. He is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Michael has presented platform, laboratory-based, and poster presentations on a variety of orthopaedic and manual therapy topics at local, regional, and national levels. Prior to joining faculty at Temple University, he served as a clinical instructor for DPT students in numerous settings in the Philadelphia area and was a Clinical Assistant in Human Anatomy and musculoskeletal courses. His current teaching responsibilities include involvement with the Musculoskeletal Management course series, Clinical Examination and Intervention course series, Functional Biomechanics lab and Special Topics course. In addition to academic work, Michael maintains per-diem clinical practice at Good Shepherd Penn Partners—Penn Therapy and Fitness at University City in Philadelphia, PA.
