College of Public Health Research Day

Friday, April 21st 2017

9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Science Education & Research Center (SERC), Ground Floor Lobby

CPH Research Day is a college-wide event that showcases research in public health, social work, kinesiology, and other clinical fields conducted by students who are working with mentorship from or in collaboration with faculty advisors. The event serves as a training experience for students, since a critical element of research is dissemination of findings and interaction with professional colleagues. There will be citation awards for meritorious posters and a “Dean’s Award for Research Excellence.” New this year, a “Pitch the CPH Pros” competition at the end of Research Day will allow students who have selected and been submitted for the competition to describe how they’ve turned their research ideas into an entrepreneurial venture.
