On Monday, April 29, Jonathan B. Singer, PhD, LCSW, Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work, was interviewed on the University at Buffalo’s inSocialWork podcast series about youth suicide and prevention efforts. Dr. Singer is currently working with the City of Philadelphia's Mural Arts Department on the Finding the Light Within Project, which offers a community- and creative arts-based approach to suicide prevention.

Dr. Singer was also featured on WHYY’s Radio Times on June 20 in a discussion about suicide, including recent patterns, factors involved, and intervention techniques. He was joined by suicide experts Thomas Joiner, PhD, professor of psychology at Florida State University and Susan Rogers, Director of Special Projects at the Mental Health Association of Southeastern PA.
