The event featured an update on AHIMA's activities, a review of strategic government initiatives (including updates and information regarding the HITECH Act and the implementation of Stage 2 of Meaningful Use), policy development on the implementation of ICD-10 and a possible delay by the Department of Health and Human Services, and the state of the profession.
