Dean's Message

It was exciting to be a part of the Temple spirit these past few weeks as we took part in the University’s Temple Made campaign. As you see below, CPH joined Temple leaders, faculty, staff and students in the trademark Temple Made face painting ritual as part of Alumni Homecoming Week events this month. A special thanks to the folks from the Office of Enrollment and Student Services for spearheading the event that brought spirit and camaraderie to the CPH team.

As you read below, there continues to be a great deal of activity in the College on so many fronts.  Our Visionary Research Fund is opening up opportunities for students and faculty to work together on research.  Our academic programs are reaching new regions as highlighted by our TU Harrisburg and Misericordia University graduation story. Reading on, we see how our faculty, staff and students continue to reach and touch so many lives with their work and their efforts.

As the region begins to recover from the impact of Hurricane Sandy this week, I would like to extend my best wishes to all of you who were touched by this powerful storm. It’s been a difficult time for so many, but one also marked by heartwarming displays of human spirit.

All the best,

Michael R. Sitler, EdD
