Gale Carlin

Academic Advisor, Public Health (Last Names L-Z)
Ritter Annex 852

Carlin started at Temple University in 2012. Her career in higher education started in 2000 at Chestnut Hill College (CHC) as an assistant registrar. During her tenure at CHC, she moved up to associate registrar and served as interim head registrar, academic advisor and director of academic advising.

In addition to serving her advising cohort, Carlin teaches a university seminar for transfer students and started a sub-committee investigating best practices among all advisors across the university. She has been happily married for more than 35 years and has been blessed with two wonderful sons. In her spare time, she loves to shop and play with the guitar group at her church. Her first home was in Philadelphia on Temple Road (named for the old Temple University stadium). It seems she was always destined to be an Owl!
