Biography:

Hope Watson is a data scientist at Current Health, a remote patient monitoring startup. She has worked developing machine learning models in areas of the healthcare space ranging from preclinical research and development in pharmaceutical pipelines at Alexion Pharmaceuticals to healthcare delivery systems involving payer analysis at Haven Healthcare. Hope focuses on the area of AI interpretability and liaising between clinical expertise and statistical analysis.

She received her BS in kinesiology and minor in public health from Temple University and her MPhil from the University of Cambridge in epidemiology and biostatistics, researching Bayesian statistical genetics. She enjoys rowing and making a good cup of coffee.
